Here's a new sign in Olema. (Olema is in California, 1 hr north of San Francisco in the Point Reyes National Seashore Area of Marin County). It is not an altered public sign. It is cut from wood and hand painted. It is about ten feet tall:
You can see it on Sir Francis Drake Blvd as you're approaching the village of Olema from the east.
Below is the street sign that was the inspiration for my sign. This sign is on Shoreline Highway as you enter Olema from the north.
Thank you so much Rob and Lisa for all your love and help with painting and putting up my sign.

I drove by this yesterday, it blends in with other highway signs perfectly! It looks great! Are you an artist???
So great! I love it. Will you have a STOP sign with McCain on it going the other way?
Love it! Hope other artists in other towns will be inspired.
Wow wonderful sign! That's a lot of work and no wonder it took the wee hours to complete. I hope it inspires others in other towns to make signs and send other positive signals. --Uncle Tom, painter of "Big Mama Wave (for Obama!)"
Very creative. I loved it as well as your commentary too on the removal request. I hope you can display it somewhere on your property where it can get equal attention. Kudos again on the creativity.
